Essential Functions:
  • Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, solder, terminate, and route wires to meet customer and engineering specifications.
  • Install connectors, contacts, splices, backshells, heat-shrink tubing, strain reliefs, and associated hardware.
  • Perform wire routing, lacing, bundling, and harness assembly in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Operate assembly equipment including crimping tools, wire strippers, soldering stations, heat guns, and other hand tools.
  • Conduct continuity, point-to-point, and functional testing using multimeters and harness test equipment.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to verify workmanship, dimensional accuracy, electrical continuity, and product quality.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Complete production documentation, work orders, inspection records, and quality paperwork accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety, quality, ESD, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control standards.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in electronics, electrical assembly, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of wire harness, cable assembly, or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, assembly schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using crimping tools, wire strippers, soldering equipment, and other electrical assembly tools.
  • Working knowledge of workmanship standards.
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles including continuity, polarity, connector pinouts, and electrical testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
