Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Long Island, NY who is a trusted provider of logistics and technical support solutions serving the aerospace, defense, and ground transportation industries. With more than 700 employees and long-standing customer partnerships, the company delivers scalable, reliable services tailored to complex operational environments.
Essential Functions:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to shipping requirements.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Prepare shipments and complete shipping documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
