AAA USA is recruiting experienced Aeronautical Structure Technicians to support major aircraft manufacturing, assembly, modification and maintenance programs at locations across the United States.

We are looking for professionals with experience in aeronautical structures, sheet metal, structural assembly, drilling, riveting, installation of fasteners and reading of plans.

Selected candidates may be considered for current and future opportunities, based on their experience, according to the needs of each program, to work legally in the United States.

Main responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install aircraft structural components.
  • Carry out drilling, reaming, countersinking and riveting operations.
  • Install and remove rivets, screws, bolts, Hi-Loks, CherryMAX and other aircraft fasteners.
  • Work with aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and composite structures, as assigned.
  • Read and interpret drawings, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical instructions.
  • Perform structural adjustments, repairs, modifications, and rework.
  • Use hand tools, pneumatics, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Verify tolerances, alignment, separation, and quality of finished work.
  • Correctly document the work done.
  • Meet all safety, quality, and production requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.

Minimum requirements:
  • Previous experience in aeronautical structures, sheet metal, structural assembly or aircraft manufacturing.
  • Experience with drilling, countersinking, reaming and riveting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Experience using hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Knowledge of fasteners and common aircraft manufacturing practices.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work safely in a production environment.
  • Availability to relocate and work in the United States.
  • Availability to work different shifts, overtime and weekends when the program requires it.

Physical requirements:
The candidate must have the physical capacity to be able to perform various essential functions of the position:
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Lift and move materials or tools up to 23 kilograms, depending on the assignment.
  • Climbing stairs and working from platforms.
  • Bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in confined spaces.
  • Perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
  • Use the required personal protective equipment.
