Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Michigan that delivers innovative solutions, with expertise spanning land, sea, air, and advanced electronics .We are looking for experienced Technicians who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
Essential Function:
- Build, modify, and support prototype and pre-production ground vehicles and mechanical systems.
- Perform mechanical installation, adjustment, and repair of vehicle systems such as powertrain, hydraulics, suspension, and related components.
- Support engineering and test teams during development, validation, and functional testing activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical assemblies for inspection, repair, or modification.
- Use technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks.
- Operate shop and material handling equipment required for assembly and maintenance activities.
- Assist with preparation of vehicles for testing, demonstrations, or transport.
- Maintain accurate work records and communicate technical findings to team leads.
- Perform general shop support duties, including material handling and housekeeping.
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a defense manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or vehicle maintenance environment.
- Experience working with medium-duty or heavy-duty vehicles, equipment, or mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate shop tools and material handling equipment.
- Willingness to work extended hours or overtime as required.
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 20%).
