Position Summary:
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Tukwila, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.
Essential Function:
- Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
- Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
- Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
- Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
- Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
- 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD Software•Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
