The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, automated gantry systems, CNC machinery, PLC-controlled equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to ensure maximum reliability and availability.
Inspect, troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Perform scheduled work according to established preventive maintenance plans.
Diagnose equipment problems and determine necessary repairs to prevent equipment failures and production downtime.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, sketches, layouts, and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC- and CNC-controlled equipment.
Work with automated manufacturing equipment, including industrial gantry systems.
Perform equipment disassembly, repair, reassembly, and installation as required.
Safely move, position, and install heavy equipment using established rigging and material-handling methods.
Perform necessary rigging activities associated with equipment installation, relocation, and repair.
Obtain and deliver materials, parts, tools, and equipment required to support maintenance activities.
Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
Enter and retrieve maintenance information using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Identify and order parts required to complete assigned maintenance and repair work.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and associated documentation.
Follow maintenance manuals, technical instructions, work orders, job cards, and established procedures.
Maintain compliance with applicable safety, quality, and equipment standards.
Support continuous improvement efforts by applying maintenance best practices and updated technical standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), and clean-as-you-go requirements.
Work any assigned shift and overtime as required to support production operations.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
2–5 years of industrial, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Experience working with CNC and/or PLC systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
